Cranbourne is located 43 km south-east of the CBD. Cranbourne is one of the older settlements located in the Melbourne's south-eastern growth corridor. It is the terminus of the suburban railway line from Dandenong and is the last major suburb on the South Gippsland Highway before reaching Gippsland.
